I thought that Lion Feuchtwanger's novel, The Oppermanns was quite good. It has three parts, the past (), the present (), and the future (). We now know that as bad as what Feuchtwanger thought the Nazi state would be, it was far worse.
The main reason I prefer the first two parts is a character who dies at the end of the second.4/4(18). All works of Lion Feuchtwanger deserve the Lion Feuchtwanger book place in our history and in our hearts and this book is right on the top of it.
